The Emergy Society has proposed a symposium topic for this conference. I have still not been informed about our proposal, but I assume that it will be accepted. Our Symposium title: Energy Systems Theory and Emergy Evaluation Applied to Analyze and Understand Changes in Ecological Systems.

No. Name Position and Affiliation This symposium examines the responses of ecological systems to change through resistance,  resilience, adaption, evolution and other mechanisms.  Ecological Systems are defined broadly  to include the world, nations, states, regions, cities, ecosystems, and their component parts.  All papers that use Energy Systems Theory or emergy methods to some degree will be considered.
